For us, it’s the defining touch—the thing that quietly (or not so quietly) shapes how a space feels the moment you walk in.
Because think about it: when someone steps into your home, your rental, your project… what do you actually want them to experience?
You want them to pause for a second.
To take it in.
To feel like they’re somewhere thoughtful, intentional—somewhere that makes sense.
That feeling doesn’t happen by accident.
And it definitely doesn’t happen when art is an afterthought.
The story behind the space
We think a lot about how spaces feel. Probably more than most people.
Not just does this look good, but would someone want to be here? Would they come back? Would they remember it?
The right piece of art doesn’t just fill a wall. It anchors a room. It sets the tone. It gives the space a point of view.
Art tells the story of a place—who it’s for, how it’s meant to feel, what kind of experience someone is stepping into.

Why we started Storyline
We started Storyline because we were designers and hosts ourselves—and sourcing art was weirdly…hard. Everything felt like a compromise. Too generic. Too expensive. Too small. Too hard to scale across a full space. We kept thinking: there has to be a better way to do this.
So we built it.
We believe finding the right art should feel intuitive, not overwhelming.
We believe you shouldn’t have to choose between quality and affordability.
We believe great art should come in the sizes you actually need (yes, including the big ones).
And most of all, we believe every space deserves art that feels like it belongs there. The difference between art that matches and art that makes sense.
